Incredible Glue Bonds

Our automatic contour edgebanders have a well-founded reputation for producing industry-leading glue bonds.

The nozzle extrusion system allows the glue applicator to be placed within 35mm of the first pressure roller.

This is a significant advantage as it means the time between applying the glue to the band and it being pressed against the panel is very short. This ensures the glue is always in a molten state, even when feed is slowed for small radius corners.

There is no requirement for heat lamps or hot-air guns to keep the glue molten and consequently, the quench performance (quick tack) when making contact with the panel is optimal.

Then 80kg/175lb of edge pressure applied by the patented Vector operating system results in an unmatched glue bond, even when overcoming band memory on difficult shapes.
